Snow. A perfect time for practicing their skill. Well.. gift now. Tyr had thought they just had a talent for tracking down things but it actually turned out that their tracking was a above the normal that their family taught. Well first off they didn't have to be taught in the first place, and second following tracks that no one else could find... well there was definitely something going on. Luckily for them, his extended family seemed to know of what was going on but didn't want to make any judgments til recently. Turns out the Hanson family was known for their tracking gift but only the Hanson's. It seemed to follow the boys in the family, and most of the family that branched off had daughters. Well.. it didn't matter Tyr was the only one left now.
Tyr bent down, their fingers touching the snow softly disturbing it only slightly. The animal they were following had certainly landed here. The disturbance in the snow, the clear tracks till this point. The bird must have gotten its prey. Silently Tyr stood up, their eyes scanning the trees over head. It had taken off afterwards, probably back to a nest or something. Stepping lightly they follow the invisible tracks their gift told them to follow, slight marks in the trees, a leaf disturbed here or there. Eventually they did find the bird. Their eyes studied the bird for a moment. Their hand instinctively going for the hunter's knife hidden on there person ready to take down the bird, but then they remembered. They were at school they couldn't do that.. At least they could spend the rest of their time out here instead of doing the starting paper work.
