Alabaster paws tracking across the ground, the free time Maeve had gotten had been dedicated to running around in her wolf form. She most definitely did not blend into the forest during this time of year, an almost beacon against the yellows and browns of fall. In the distance not too far by she picked up on the sound, a cry for help. The almost supersonic hearing bestowed upon canines did affect her too, and she couldn't refuse a cry for help.
Bounding at a much faster speed than she would as a human, as Maeve neared she did the seamless transition back into a human. Her hair was an absolute mess and not pinned up at all, but it was still cut short enough that she could just run her fingers through the locks and be fine. Seeing the other two panicked students in the barn over a chicken, Maeve regained her composure and went over to the two. "What happened..?" Her signature head-tilt let some of her long snowy locks of hair fall into her face, quickly being swiped back as she surveyed the situation.
Peculiar as she looked showing up out of nowhere, Maeve got the gist of what was going on as soon as she glanced down at the lifeless chicken. Leaping forward, there was a slight ripple of pain as her knees hit the ground, but it was ignored as her fingers worked to find the chicken's ribcage. Finding the spot she needed to be at, gentle compressions began without second thought. She had most certainly been trained in CPR, and while she hadn't ever tried it on a chicken before... there was a first time for everything.
