It was nearly a daily occurrence. Every other morning, fresh cookies and other baked goods would show up in the lounge for the students to snack on while they hanging out in that room. Nobody knew who was doing it, nobody but Morgan...But well, it was easy to know who it was when it was you. He hadn't really meant to start this traditional, but baking and just cooking in general was one of his best ways to relieve stress...But it meant he was ending up with a bit more baked goods then he wanted so he had started to leave them in the lounge the morning after he made them.
And now, it was just a tradition.
Morgan hummed happily to himself as he slipped into the room, the morning sun having just risen over the campus grounds. Being awake early for him wasn't a huge problem and there were rarely people in the lounge at this time so it was easy to leave the baked goods without anybody knowing it was him. He fished into the bag he had brought, pulling out tiny plastic containers that were filled with different types of cookies. He replaced them with the previous containers- a few stale-ish cookies still remaining but that was fine, he didn't mind eating whatever was left.
As he did the trade, he popped open the lids and pulled out a stack of sticky notes, scrawling out 'Peanut Butter Cookies' before ripping the sticky note off and placing it on the container. He did the same for the rest, dutifully labeling each of the containers so that the other students would know their content - he didn't want somebody to eat something they didn't like, after all.
Once he was done, he smiled softly as he finished packing everything away - ready to head back to his home when the door to the lounge creaked open. He jumped, his eyes widening as a flicker of blue flame left his mouth, panic flooding through him like he had been caught doing a crime - not leaving baked goods. Why was somebody else awake so early?!?
