Guardians & School Leadership

The Headmaster is the mayor and commander-in-chief of Rivers Pointe, as well as the superintendent of Beata Academy. They are assisted in these matters by the Deputy Headmaster. Practical governing is delegated to the Headmaster's council, which includes the three Guardian commanders, the Principal of Liberi Academy and the Dean of the Benedicite Institute, the lord of the Lupo clan and its vassals, the heads of wealthy and influential families, as well as chosen representatives.

The Lupine Guard are responsible for the protection of the Headmaster and other important figures in the city, and patrol Deepwell Reformatory. Membership is exclusive to the Lupo clan and its vassal bloodlines. Commanded by their Lord-Captain, Montare Lupo.


Guardian prospects are recruited from Beata Academy as young as Second Year. Students with promising gifts, skills, or grades are given unique opportunities and privileges in preparation for a Guardian career. When they complete their education at Beata Academy, cadets will be formally initiated into their Branch after a grueling training course at the Benedicite Institute.
