Gift Eater - When Elliot's gift is active, a thin dark miasma covers his skin and makes him resistant to gifted attacks. This vapor barrier can be expanded, at the cost of thinning it out and making it less effective. Capable of sensing traces of the supernatural.
Notes:
- Hails from an old gifted bloodline of hunters.
- His gift is the result of selective breeding over several generations, the vision of his great-grandfather Caerwyn Owen.
- Gifted people have an instinctual dislike of him, and portal monsters are attracted to his scent.
- This miasma is sticky and unpleasant to the touch, and will stick to people with gifted blood like oil, but being "attacked" with it would be akin to being hit by a wet towel.
- The miasma can be spread over weapons or objects, however. If somehow exposed to a gifted person's bloodstream, it is known to cause power feedback and send abilities into overdrive.
