HENSHIN - Shin's ability occurs during periods of high stress, and seem to act as a defense mechanism. Wehn his powers activate, a unique chitin armor forms under his skin and pushes outward, causing his skin to rip and tear open. During this painful process, his gloss over into red compound eyes, antena burst from his head, his fingernails sharpen and he loses any and all control over his actions.
In this form, Shin's physical abilities are boosted, specifically his legs. He can jump a maximum of 114m straight up, and with a running start he can jump about twice that in distance. His running speed and kicking power are also greatly increased. In this form he has greater regeneration, any wound he suffers in this form is healed in half the time it normally would. However, any wound gained in this that doesn't heal stays on Shin, where the wound will heal at normal pace. He has improved vision, hearing, and smell in this form. His nails elongate to about an inch and become razor sharp claws, his forearms also sport several small hooked blades on the back. Should these blades or claws be destroyed, due to his regenetive abilities he can grow them back instantly.
Notes:
- At age 12, his powers violently surfaced, when he transformed in the middle of the night. He woke in a pool of his older brother's blood, his head next to his hands. His parents were disgusted and horrified by him, he was taken away by the police. Through shifting hands and homes, he wound up in River's point.
