Brief Description of Gifts:
Portal Manipulation - Amelia is able to create portals from one place to another, or even multiple portals that open to multiple places. It’s much easier for her to open portals to places she has already been to, such as her room or school. Opening a portal in a place she’s never been to can be dangerous; she could open it above the location, or even miss the place entirely. Amelia is able to control the size of the portal, though it takes less energy to open small ones.
She’s careful to not close her portals too early as this can lead to cutting limbs and bodies apart, and is the main reason why she tends to go last if she is porting several people. Since she is still young, Amelia has a problem with accidentally opening a portal and landing herself in another room, another place like the park, or someone else’s house. This is more common when she’s either angry, or sleeping.
As she develops her gift, she will be able to open multiple portals that connect to each other, allowing her to deflect objects or attacks onto someone or somewhere else. She will also be able to open a portal that acts as a black hole, sucking objects and people in it’s radius and into whatever place is on the other side of the portal. She’ll also be able to open a portal for someone else in another location without her being there, but for now she is not able to do so. Another skill she will be able to utilize much later is the ability to open a portal around the target’s body, binding them in place. This takes precision, and she’d only end up slicing a person at her current level.
