Morgan was careful to stay an acceptable distance from Jonathan now, the feel of his body pressed against her's still prominent in the back of her mind. They'd managed to make it inside after a bit more effort than intended, and were now thankfully able to focus on the heart of their mission. Still, though she tried to come across as mature and put together, she was still just a touch starved eighteen year old girl. There was a flush on her cheeks that seemed semi-permanent in Jonathan's presence.
Still, as she watched him concentrate her power, looking so focused in that moment, she was reminded of the importance and seriousness of the mission. She wasn't a kid fawning over a playground crush right now. There were lives on the line, people counting on her. That feeling was in itself new to her, and gave her a strength of purpose that filled her with fire - quite literally, if the way her temperature rose was anything to show for, radiating off of her more so than usual.
She wasn't hiding away anymore, she wasn't laying on her back - she was jumping into the fray.
When she finally met Jonathan's gaze, she didn't look away, amber eyes holding his as she listened intently. Nodding, she moved towards him and the map, though habit kept her just out of his reach. Narrowing her eyes, she ran her finger across part of them map, then nodded as if in confirmation to herself. "Let's go this way." There was a new confidence that hadn't been there moments before as Morgan moved off without a word.
